Judy Lynn McDonald, 52, died Friday, March 20, 2015 in Fritch.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Ammon Webber, officiating. Burial will be at noon in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. Her memory may be honored with a gift to a memorial account made in her memory at Wells Fargo.
Judy was born March 31, 1962 in Amarillo to Harold and Norma Wilson. Mrs. McDonald graduated from Phillips High School in 1980 and went on to get her Bachelor's Degree at West Texas A and M College. She taught school at Dumas and at Fritch and loved her students. Judy was a member of the LDS Church and was active as a volunteer with the youth, missionaries, Young Women classes and the Relief Society. A kind and loving person, she took care of people and became a part of their lives. Nothing brought more joy to her life than being close to her family. She loved living and lived loving.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and nephews, Harold Nicholes, Danny Wilson; and niece, Donna Wilson.
Survivors include her husband, Norman; son Jared McDonald and his wife Sarah of Fritch; three daughters, Crystal Mattiza and her husband Justin of Fritch, Kelly Tita and her husband Michael of Shoreline, WA and Sarah McCarter and her husband Lee of Odessa; brother, Harold Wilson of Fritch; two sisters, Janie Nicholes of Borger and Mary Morrison of Fritch; and eleven grandchildren and one due to arrive in November.
Casket bearers will be Lee McCarter, Justin Mattiza, John Duggan, Joe Nicholes, Harold Wilson, Mike Wilson, David Cox and Matt Rogers.
The family requests that you wear bright clothing, like she loved, to her service and that you would bring your favorite written memory of Judy.
