Judy Wilson

Judy Wilson, 79, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Richard Kasko officiating.   Burial will follow in Quail Cemetery, Quail, Texas under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.  In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to Fritch Meals on Wheels, PO Box 366, Fritch, Texas 79036.  Judy will lie in state beginning on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, in Fritch. 

Judy was born February 8, 1945, in Borger to Turney Jameson and Willene Hall Jameson.  She married Roscoe Verdie Wilson on August 6, 1971, in Fritch, they spent many years traveling and enjoying each other’s company.   Judy was a member of the Fritch Church of Christ.  She worked at First Security National Bank as a teller for many years.  In her spare time Judy liked doing cross stitch, crocheting, playing cards and reading.    

She is preceded in death by her parents, Turney and Willene Jameson; husband, Roscoe; and brother, Tommy Jameson.

Survivors include her brother, Jerry Jameson and wife Karen of Fritch; nieces, Angela Hollowell and husband Billy of Booker, Peggy Detten and husband Jeff of Panhandle, Billie Peden and husband Todd of Claude; nephews, Hank Jameson and wife Donna of Borger, Larry Jameson and wife Sharon of Amarillo; and a host of extended family.
