Jules James Exnicious 81, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014 at his home. Jules was born November 24, 1932 in Houston, Texas. Cremation was under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.
Jules served in the Texas National Guard and proudly served as a Sergeant for the United States Army as a Tank Commander during the Korean War. He was a salesman for Philco Company for 25 years. He then enjoyed cross country truck driving and shared many adventures he encountered. After retirement, Jules moved to Amarillo, Texas and worked for the Senior Citizens as an accountant. He met Mary Ann Labus, and they latter married April 10, 1999. They enjoyed traveling by RV across the United States. He worked several years at Eds in Panhandle. Jules was a dedicated Texas Aggie fan.
Jules was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara. Survivors include his wife Mary Ann Labus Exnicious of Panhandle, his brother, Robert Exnicious and wife Jo of Houston. Four stepchildren:
Ron Labus and wife Martha, of Houston, Diane Brown, and husband Larry of Amarillo, Debbie Meyer and Lynn Noel of Panhandle, Lynette Smith and husband Mark of Panhandle. He loved eight grandchildren and fifteen greatgrandchildren.
Memorial service will be Thursday, November 6, 2pm at St. Theresas Catholic Church in Panhandle with Father Mieczyslaw Przepiora Pastor, officiating.
