Kathryn Turner

Kathryn Perry Turner, 89 of Borger passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Amarillo. Celebration of life will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 28, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Borger. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Kathryn was born November 16, 1933, in Inola, OK to Joe and Edith (Adams) McFarlin. She has been a resident of Borger since 1954. She owned and operated a private club, The Madrid in Borger, for 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Borger.

Kathryn married Thomas “Tommy” Turner December 11, 1993, in Dallas, TX. She loved raising and training horses, lifting weights, running and golfing.

Preceding her in death are her parents; first husband, R. D. “Pete” Perry; brothers, Tom McFarlin, Ben McFarlin, Johnnie McFarlin, Jimmie McFarlin and Dan McFarlin; sisters, Christine Stanford and Jane Spurlock.

Surviving is her husband, Tommy; sons, Tom Perry of Coppell, TX and John Perry of GA; stepson, Brent Turner of Clute, TX; stepdaughters, Dana Rizo of Crane, TX and Ana Turner of WA; sister, Susanne Grigsby of Sugarland, TX; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
