Kathy Emert

Funeral services for Kathy Lynn Emert, 52, of Borger will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at the 1st Assembly of God Church with Rev. Calvin Newton, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday in the Buffalo Cemetery in Sweetwater, OK under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger, TX.

Kathy died suddenly Monday morning, she had been a resident of Borger for the past 30 years. She married Jim Emert September 1, 1979 in Borger. Kathy was very active in the 1st Assembly of God church, playing the piano and organ and organizing many of the activities of the Women's Ministries and the Sunday School Department. She loved her grandkids, kids, church and her family.

Kathy is survived by her husband Jim, 3 Daughters - Terzia Sill and husband Stephen of Borger, Tara Mihm and husband Kevin of Anchorage, Alaska and Lesley Anderson and husband Bryan of 29 Palms, CA. Her parents Gerald and Dolores McKay of Borger, her sister Vickie Brown and husband Jackie of Amarillo and her two grandchildren Irelynn and Emery Sill.

Buffalo Cemetery is located 14 miles N.W. of Sayre, OK on Highway 152, west 14 mile, 34 mile south.
