Keith Lee Parks

Keith Lee Parks, 75, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 surrounded by his wife and children. 

Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Keith was born March 13, 1948, in El Reno, Oklahoma to Jess Willard Parks and Gloria Eloha McGee.  He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  After returning from the war, he married the love of his life, Janet Aliece Keller, on February 17, 1972, in Clayton, New Mexico.  Keith retired from Sid Richardson Carbon Black Plant after 39 years.  He later spent time working at the Phillips Golf Course and for the city of Borger. 

Keith enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, and traveling, but one of his greatest joys was watching his grandkids participate in their activities. 

Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Gloria Parks and grandson, Jared Lindsey Parks. 

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Janet of Borger; daughter, Lisa Hernandez and husband Steve of The Colony, Texas; sons, Chip Parks and wife Kami of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Sean Parks and wife Kristal of Yukon, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Cody Hieter and wife Kasey, Liz Cook and husband Garrett, Hailey Parks, Tristan Parks, Zach Parks, Kailan Parks; two great granddaughters, Eva and Sadie; sister, Karen Flaherty and husband Pat of Lebanon, Connecticut; and a host of extended family.
