Keith Smith

Keith Smith, 76, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

A celebration of his life will be held at 11 am Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Unity Church with Pastor Bruce Ridling officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Keith was born June 11, 1941 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Loraine Sexton Smith and Leonard Smith. He married Sheryl Rosenbaum on August 16, 1968 in Clovis, New Mexico. Keith worked as a barber in his early years and then worked as a foreman for a drywall company in Fort Worth for many years. He had a passion for classic cars. Keith enjoyed restoring them, working on them, driving them and just admiring them. Nothing brought more joy to his life than spending time with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Butch Smith.

Remaining family include his wife of 49 years, Sheryl Smith of Borger; son, Terry Don Smith-Eskippa of Amarillo; daughters, Dee Boeka of Borger, Melissa Rodriguez and husband Tony of Fort Worth; daughter-in-law, Maria Smith of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Monique Ruiz and husband Eli, Seth Rawlinson and wife Sammy, Caleb Rawlinson and wife Clarissa; three great grandchildren, Isaiah, Alicia, Jude; and a brother, Garth Smith and wife Gloria of Tennessee.
