Kelley Sue Reece Avant, 46, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 in Bugbee, Sanford, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 29th at First United Methodist Church in Borger with Rev. Johnny Robertson, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRKelley was born on October 26, 1962 in Amarillo, and had lived in Sanford for the last five years, moving here from Amarillo. She had previously worked for Amarillo Globe News for ten years as a paste artist in classifieds. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sanford and was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Ray Reece. Kelley loved to sing and play the guitar at home, and she loved fishing.BRBRKelley is survived by her son - Jimmy Ray Avant and wife Heather of Springfield, MO., mother - Lomona White of Sanford, brother - Russ Reece of Albuquerque, NM, sister - Shelly Bruce of Borger, one step-granddaughter - Breanna Wilson of Springfield, MO, two nieces, three nephews and one great-niece.
