Kendra Sotelo

Kendra Diane Teel Sotelo, 32, of Stinnett, died March 30, 2010.

Memorial services will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 108 Broadmoor in Borger with Mike Nixon and Randy Lopez officiating. A visitation will be from 57p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Ruben Cantu, Jared Cagle, Greg Bryant, Dustin Comer, Ethan Martinez and Sam Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Evan Bryant, Noah Brown and Michael Sotelo.

Kendra was born to Margie and Dale Teel on January 28, 1978 in Amarillo. She was a graduate of Canyon High School in 1996 and Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Guymon, Oklahoma in 2004.

Kendra taught third grade math at Sunray Elementary School. She was previously a teacher in Stinnett and Cactus.

She married James Daniel Sotelo on April 17, 1999 and became a mother to his young son Kameron. They added to their family by having another son, Marcos, in 2000 and then in 2008 they adopted two beautiful girls, Audrey and Aaliyah.

Because of her love of our Creator and study of the scriptures, she was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses July 20, 2002.
She had many interests including, running, sports, music. Her passion was for teaching and sharing her faith with others. Most everything Kendra did revolved around her kids, nieces and nephews and her students. Kendra loved her family and her students and will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father in 2008.

She is survived by her husband Danny, a son, Kameron Miguel Sotelo, and daughter, Aaliyah Breanne Sotelo, all of Stinnett her mother, Margie Teel of Stinnett two sisters, Tricia Latta of Amarillo and Karin Dyer of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma two brothers, Lloyd Stewart and Kevin Teel of Amarillo her fatherinlaw, Juan Sotelo and motherinlaw, Paula Sotelo of Stinnett two nieces, eight nephews and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, inlaws, friends, coworkers and students.
