Kenneth Hayes

Kenneth Lane Hayes, 69, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Panhandle. Burial will follow in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle. The family will receive guest at the funeral home in Panhandle on Tuesday from 67 p.m. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored by a gift to Smile Train, www.smiletrain.org.

Kenneth was born February 2, 1945 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Burt and Grace Hayes. He proudly served in the United States Army. Kenneth married Sandra Wagner March 15, 1989 in Panhandle. He loved to hunt, trading guns and messing with his tractors. Kenneth also enjoyed flea markets and garage sales. He loved his grand kids most of all. Kenneth was a member of Carson Masonic Lodge 1167.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra of the home sons, Lane Hayes and his wife, Amy of Arlington, Brandon Bradshaw of Panhandle, Wesley Bradshaw and his wife, Tina of Duncan, Oklahoma six grandchildren brothers, Calvin Hayes of Sunray, Wayne Hayes and his wife, Edna of Weatherford, Oklahoma sisters, Lou Christian and her husband, Gail of Amarillo, JoAn Stallings of Leedy, Oklahoma, Flo Yoakam and her husband, Gary of Norfolk, Ohio, and Doris Hobbs of Panhandle.
