Kenneth Ray Herin, 73, of Borger, died Sunday, July 1, 2012 in Borger.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leonard Forsythe of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Kenneth Ray Herin was born May 10, 1939 in Clibet, Oklahoma to Ewing and Mattie Turner Herin. He grew up in Borger and was a Borger High School graduate in 1957. Kenneth joined the Navy March 7, 1961, and served his country until February 2, 1965. He was an electrician , and worked for Basil Electric, North Texas Electric, and Keltex. Kenneth was also a member of the Liberty Masonic Lodge in Denver, Colorado.

Kenneth is survived by two sons William Lewis Herin and wife Katherine of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Philip Ray Herin of Pampa four grandchildren Chelsea Plorde, and Garrett Herin both of Virgina, Luke and Faith Herin of Borger, a brother Jerry Herin of Dumas, a sister Linda Bailey of Oklahoma, his former wife Leota Lee Herin of Borger, and a sister at heart, Paula Holt of Borger.

Following the memorial service the family will gather at 210 W. Adams in Borger.
