Kenneth Shira

Borger Kenneth Leon Shira, 74, died Monday, April 9, 2012.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 12, 2012 at First Church of the Nazarene in Borger, with Pastor Terry Porter officiating. Graveside services will be 4:30 pm Thursday at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Tx are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Shira was born on September 29, 1937 in Hall County, TX. He marrried Betty Sue Mabry on November 24, 1960 in Esteline, TX. He moved to Fritch in 1968, before moving to Borger in 2005. He worked for many years at Pioneer Natural Gas as an operator. He loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue two sons, Brent Lee Shira of Panhandle and Bobby Lynn Shira of Ft. Worth one sister Betty Ellen Lee of Andrews and 3 grandchildren, Michael Dean Taylor, David McIntosh, and Southern Nicole Shira.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Ken Michael Taylor.
