Laquita Jennings

Funeral services for Joyce Jennings, 80, longtime area resident will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Fellowship Church with Pastor Marshall Ford and Bishop Ed Skiles, Pastor of Liberty Worship Church officiating. Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m. Friday in the Blair Cemetery in Blair, OK Brother Randy Mitchell, Pastor of 1st Baptist Church Blair, OK officiating. Direction is by MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Joyce was born in Lubbock and married Murry Jennings August 2, 1947 in Vernon, TX. They moved to the Spring Creek Community in 1956 and in 1978 moved to Borger. She sold Avon and worked for the Spring Creek ISD for 16 years and then Panhandle Transit for 7 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hutchinson County Sheriffs Posse and most of all, she loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents W. O. and Myrtle Jones and 5 Sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Murry, 3 Sons Mike Jennings and wife Debie of Borger, Jerry Jennings and wife LaDonna of Sayre, OK and Tim Jennings and Isabella Ramon of Sanford, 1 Daughter Linda Skiles and husband Ed of Borger, 2 Brothers W. E. Jones of Oklahoma City, OK and Bobby Jones of Blair, OK, 10 Grandchildren and 17 GreatGrandchildren.

Casket Bearers will be Shawn Skiles, Jeremiah Skiles, Mark Jennings, Nathaniel Jennings, Matt Jennings and T. J. Jennings.
