Larry Nivens, Jr.

Larry Joe Nivens, Jr., 51, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015.

Graveside service 2 pm Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Highland Park Cemetery with Pastor Kirk Coker officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home in Fritch.

Larry was born December 12, 1963 in Amarillo, Texas to Carolyn (Huckins) and Larry Nivens, Sr. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the river. If Larry was with his family, then he was happy. He lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Larry enjoyed cooking especially for his family and coworkers. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his mother and a son, Brad Nivens.

Survivors include his wife Elisha of the home; children, Sabrina Robles of Temple, Mark Lee Nivens and wife Janice of Borger, Melissa Nivens of Fritch, Colt Nivens and wife Raelee of Fritch, Laramie Nivens of Fritch, Chance Nivens of Fritch, Chase Nivens of Fritch, Stacy Nivens of Borger; father, Larry Nivens, Sr. and wife Debbie of Fritch; grandchildren, Josh, Brady, Kasey, Brittany, Madilynn, Bentlee, Alizay, Tatertot and a baby boy due to arrive in May; great grandson, Brendon; sisters, Selina Corbin of Amarillo, Jean Powers and husband Mark of Amarillo; brother, Matt Hope and wife Crystal of Seymour; his buddy, Keith Alan of Amarillo; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.
