L.D. Hartman “Hartman”, 66, passed away, Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Westlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Shelby Deatherage officiating.  Hartman will lie in state at Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch from 5-8 pm on Wednesday and 9 am - 8 pm on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, please honor her memory by sharing stories you have about Hartman with her family to the following email:shahinahenderson@gmail.com

Hartman was born Jun 12, 1956, in Rushville, Nebraska to Earl Dohse and Etta Keyes Dohse.  She married Scott Hartman on July 25, 1987, in Nebraska.  A member of the National Rifle Association, she had an appreciation for firearms.  She had a big heart and was known to allow the neighborhood kids to welcome themselves in her garage for a popsicle or soda, as well as “adopting” several families in the community that she would provide food or other necessities.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than being called Grammy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Etta Dohse.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Hartman of Fritch; son, Shawn Hartman of Fritch; daughter, Shahina Henderson and husband Scotty of Fritch; grandsons, Wyatt and Maxx; siblings, Ellois Beal and husband Randy, Duane Dohse, Marlene Davis and husband Owen, Roger Dohse, Marlys Slater and husband Maurice, Keith Dohse, Boyd Dohse, C.J. Dohse, Verlin Dohse and wife Kathy, Leland Dohse and wife Joey; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
