L.E. Raney

L.E. "Slim" Raney of Panhandle, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 13 at the Panhandle Cemetery, officiated by Danny Farrell of Panhandle.
Slim was born May 13, 1924 in Bennington, Ok, to John and Mollie (Neal) Raney. He was a farmer and worked in road maintenance for Carson County for eighteen years.
Slim was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Ima Jean Raney December 2014.
Survivors include, his sons, Jim Raney of Panhandle and Roger Raney of Amarillo; one brother, Hulen Raney of Bennington, OK; a sister, Marie Litterell of Borger; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
