Leanna Hooks

Leanna Hooks, 64, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Eternal Light Church with Pastor Willie Adams officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Hooks was born on August 6, 1945 in Borger and she had been a lifetime area resident. She was a homemaker and loved being Mother and MaMaw. She had a servants heart. She was preceded in death by her brother Johnnie Edward Garrard and sister Jessie Ratliff.

Mrs. Hooks is survived by two sons Billy Hooks and wife Diana of Stinnett, Richard Hooks of Superior, CO., daughter Sherry Burrow and husband Rainey of Skellytown, two brothers Alan Garrard of Amarillo and Preston Garrard of Stinnett, two sisters Terry Larson of Borger, Shirley Garrard of Stinnett, five grandchildren Billy Jack Reed, Tye Hooks, Ferrian Londagin, Misty Barrow and Dusty Barrow, and five greatgrandchildren Caiden, Dawson, River, Rylie and Isaiah.

Casket bearers will be Billy Jack Reed, Michael Londaagin, Dusty Barrow, Rainey Barrow, Michael Ratliff and Eddie Ratliff.
