Leola Collins

Leola Mur Collins, 89, died Thursday, September 13th in Canyon. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, at Westlawn Memorial Park with Cody Drake officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Leola was born May 1, 1923 at Plainview, Texas to Oscar Miller and Euphemia Hinds Miller. She was a Homemaker. She married Roy Jackson Collins November 1946. She loved to read her Bible and loved to spend time with her family. She was the family prayer warrior. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband two sons, Jacky Roy Collins and Rodney J. Collins a grandson, Christopher Collins a sister Thelma Jones and two brothers, Raymond Seal and Sonny Seal.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Collins of Canyon, Texas and a sister Sylvia Gillilan of Rockwall, Texas Eight grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Grandchild.
