Leona Turner

Leona H. Lee Turner, 83, entered into heaven Saturday, August 25th from Livingston, TX. BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the First Assembly of God Church in Fritch with Rev. Justin Unwin, pastor officiating. Ingerment will be in The Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRLee was born on August 1, 1924 in Girard, Tx., and had been a panhandle area resident for 64 years. She graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in accounting. She was a homemaker and a faithful and active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Fritch. Lee and Giles have been married for 64 12 years and have been workers for Christ the same length of time. She was preceded in death by her children, Giles Henry and Mary Turner, and one sister, Stella MaeMcMenamin.

She is survived by her husband Giles Turner of the Home, three grandchildren, Bruce Baker, Suzanne Cotton and LeAnn Turner, four great-grandchildren - Britney Baker, Briann Baker, Natalie Cotton and BrandonTurner and one great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by three sisters - Helen Williams of Tucson, AZ, Charlotte Ruth Bailk of Arizona and Margaret Berry of McAdoo, TX.BR
