Leonard Lee Pittman, 79, of Fritch died Wed. May 11th at Amarillo, Tx. Funeral services will be 10:00 am at Trinity Nazarene Church in Borger with Rev. Dale Peirce and Rev. J. W. Frazier officiating. Burial will be 2:30 pm Sat. at Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, Tx under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Leonard was born Nov. 19, 1931 at Gray, Oklahoma to Amcy and Ethel Pittman. He married Johnnie Mills Nov. 20, 1949 at Perryton. He worked for Fasco Industry as a industrial mechanic for 18 yrs.He farmed and was involved in his church. He was a pilot and loved to fly and soloed at 21 years of age.He helped build a VariEZE airplane with a friend in the 1980s. He recieved his pilots license in Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and one grandson.

He is survived by his wife Johnnie of the home. Son Terrell and wife Lisa of Bella Vista, Arkansas. Daughters Kathy Thompson and husband Jerry of Bella Vista, Ark. Sherri Hollis of Leavenworth, KS. Seven Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home in Fritch. Memorials may be made to Gideons or Odyssey Hospice 5900 W. Interstae 40 150 Amarillo, Tx 79106
