Lillie Chaffin

Lillie Simpson Chaffin, 90 of Sanford died Tuesday February 11th in Amarillo. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday February 15th at First Baptist Church Sanford with Rev. Larry Brock pastor officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch. There will be a visitation Friday from 5: 00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Lillie was born April 12,1923 at Whitesboro, Texas to Oliver W. and Myra Womble Simpson. She had been a Sanford resident since 1948. She was a member of First Baptist church of Sanford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Buster in 2007, brothers and sisters. She worked as a sales clerk at Sears Minit Mart.

She is survived by sons Billy Jack and Janet Chaffin of Houston, TX. Bobby Ray and Adriana Chaffin of Fritch, TX. 15 Grandchildren , 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
