Linda R. Ashby, 67, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices are pending with MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.BRBRLinda was born on October 28, 1941 in Kirkland, Texas and had been a lifetime resident of Borger and Fritch. She was a seamstress and in paper distribution for the Amarillo Globe News for 25 years. She was a member of the Bunavista Baptist Church.BRBRShe was preceded in death by her father - G. Ebbie Mahan in 1985, mother - Viola Mahan in 1988, son - Mark Ashby in 1989, brother - Roger Mahan in 2000 and sister - Waynona Beck in 1992.BRBRShe is survived by two sisters- Ebbie Wells and Donnell Drake both of Borger, five grandchildren - Shelby Arnett of Borger, Mariah Cumings, Chase Cumings, Arianna Howard and Zachariah Howard all of Fritch and niece - Stephanie Howard of Fritch.
