Linda Lee

April 11, 1953 — November 13, 2017

Linda Carol Hughes Lee, 64, departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2017 in Pampa, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her final resting place in Prairie Haven Memorial Park in Hobbs, New Mexico, those services will be under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Linda was born one of seven children to Eu ral Hughes and Robbie Edmond Hughes on April 11, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas. She received her formal education and graduated from Hobbs High School in Hobbs, New Mexico. Linda was united in holy matrimony to her high school sweetheart, Ronald Eugene Lee, Sr., and to this union was born three children: one son, Ronald Eugene Lee, Jr.; two daughters, Synetta Michelle Lee and Kristal Lane Lee.

She was blessed with an abundance of talents, those being a meticulous homemaker, seamstress, baker, interior decorator (especially decorating with flowers), and arts and crafts. Whatever idea you could come up with and brought to her attention she would give it a try until it was perfected. Linda was a gracious, loving, caring, giving and helpful person to everyone she came in contact with. As she was blessed she "blessed others."
Linda obeyed the gospel in her teens and obeyed her Lord and Savior's call to come and rest after sixty-four years, when her journey and work was completed.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jimmy Dale Edmond; and two sisters, Alice Faye French and Erma Jean Burns.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Ronald "Ronnie/Ron" of Pampa, Texas; her son, Ronald Eugene Lee, Jr. and his wife Dietra of Amarillo; daughters, Synetta Michelle Lee Conley and her husband Nick of Pampa, Texas, Kristal Lane Lee Sims and her husband Gabriel of Pampa, Texas; her grandchildren, Romel Ryn Lee and Demetrius Rumal Lee of Amarillo, Texas, Tavarius James Conley, Robbie Reanne and Chanel Nicole Conley and Teddy of Pampa, Texas; mother-in-love, Katherine A. Johnson of Desoto, Texas; brother-in-love, Desean Wayne Johnson and his wife Nancy of Midlothian, Texas; father-in-love, Wesley Lee and wife Helen of Compton, California; three sisters, Betty S. Cook and husband Joe Willie of Hobbs, New Mexico, Addie B. Smith and husband Wayne of Riverside, California, Wanda J. McKinley and husband Stan of Hobbs, New Mexico; one brother, William Hughes of Hobbs, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Linda Carol Hughes Lee will be sorely missed by all of us.
