Linda Stegall

Linda Rene Stegall, 78, was born in Hollis Oklahoma to Harry and Leo Treadway on June 29, 1936, departed on June 26 2015.

Linda married Albert Stegall on December 25th, 1953 in Harmon County, Oklahoma, then moved with him to Borger in January of 1955 where they raised their family and resided the rest of her life.

Linda worked for and retired with the BISD, where for 20 years she enjoyed working with and helping the special needs children there. She was a long time Christian, a member of the Church of Christ and taught children's bible classes there.

Over the years Linda has enjoyed outings, trips and vacations with her husband, all of her family and a host of friends dating back for many years…

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Leo Treadway of Harmon County Oklahoma, and a son-in- law, Allen Newman of Borger Texas.

Survivors include her husband, Albert of Borger, her sister, Theresa Treadway Lloyd and her husband Tom and their son, David Van of Warrensburg, New York. One son, Harry Lee Stegall and wife Cindy of Borger, 3 daughters, Tonie Marie Jordan and husband Jack of Oklahoma City, OK, Patsy Jean Mitchell and husband Randy of Gardendale Texas, Dorothy Lynn Barnes and husband Steve of Borger and Then last and far far from least, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren with one more due any day now. Linda (Grandma), loved her grandchildren very very much.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ at Borger with Mr. Denny Sneed and Mr. Richard Kasko officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger.
