Linda Marie Turner Davis

Linda Marie Turner Davis, 82, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, June 15, 2023, in the Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor Scott Wallace officiating.   Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers her memory may be honored with a gift to the Pampa Dialysis Center, 2545 Perryton Pkwy #1E, Pampa, Texas, 79065.   Pallbearers will be Colby Price, Dustin Irvin, Wesley Phillips, Hayden Phillips, Jesse Wohlford, and Curtis Davis.
 
Linda was born October 17, 1940, in Pamlico, South Carolina to Kearney Rossini Turner and Julia Estell Eady Turner.  She married Howard Wayne Davis on August 10, 1957, in Pamplico.  Linda was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.  She loved to play golf and was a member of the Ladies Golf Association.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rossini and Julia Turner; husband, Howard Wayne Davis; daughter, Sherry Leonard; granddaughter, Sonya Leonard; son-in-law, Burney Leonard; brothers, Kearney Turner, Alford Turner, Ross Turner; and sisters, Amelia Altman, Jenise Flowers, and Barbara Campbell.

Survivors include her son, Howard Wayne Davis, Jr. of Fritch; daughter, Julie Blackburn and husband, Dennis of Borger; grandchildren, Tasha Devers, Cassie Phillips and husband Wesley, Bethany Irvin and husband Dustin, Shana Price and husband Colby, Curtis Davis, Sarah Wohlford and husband Jesse, Kaitlyn Blackburn; ten great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Turner and wife Lynn of South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
