Linden Richardson

BRLinden L.D. David Richardson, 86, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Amarillo, Texas.BRBRGraveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Stinnett Cemetery with Rev. Danny Courtney, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Fritch officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMr. Richardson was born the fifth of ten children on August 28, 1922 in Dundee, Oklahoma to Jesse Essie Richardson. He was a mechanic's assistant in the oilfield, member of the First Baptist Church in Stinnett and served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Plemmons Masonic Lodge No. 877 and loved yardwork and his grandkids.BRHe was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pearl on December 1, 2001, seven sisters and four brothers.BRBRHe is survived by three sons - D.J. Richardson and wife Barbara of Amarillo, Daniel Richardson and wife Linda of Stinnett, Dennis Richardson and wife Peggy of Scott Acres in Stinnett, two brothers - J.D. Richardson of Lubbock, Paul Richardson of Amarillo, sister - Betty Jean Boggs of Hereford, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.BRBRThe family wishes to give a special thank-you to the staff of Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home in Amarillo.BR.
