Lois Hampton

Eilene Hampton, 88, died Monday, February 14, 2011 died in Granbury, TX.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Memory Gardens in Pampa with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ officiating. Interment is under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Hampton was born on November 8, 1922 in Wagoner, OK. and she had been an area resident since 1930. She was a bookkeeper for Southern Union Gas and was a member of the Church of Christ at Borger. She married W. A. Hampton, Jr. on May 10, 1947 in Phillips. Eilene loved to play cards, especially canasta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben Alice Powers, her husband, W.A. Hampton on March 29, 2010 and one sister.

She is survived by her son Jerry Hampton of Amarillo, daughter Linda Walker and husband Paul of Granbury, TX, four grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren and two greatgreat grandchildren.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Fritch funeral home.
