Lois Karber

November 9, 1928 — August 17, 2013

Lois Ruth Karber, 84 of Fritch died Saturday August 17th in Borger. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Tuesday August 20th at First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Calvin Winters officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Lois was born November 9, 1928 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Jesse C. and Hazel Kyle Hutson. She married Benjamin Karber January 24,1946 in Liberal, KS. She lived in Fritch for 20 years coming from Dumas where she worked in the cafeteria of Dumas Independent School District. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Allegro Motor Home Club of Amarillo and Fritch Arts and Crafts Club. She loved making dolls, crocheting and traveling in the motor home. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2007 and two brothers Clarence and Francis.

She is survived by sons Don Karber and wife Vivian of Fritch and Harold Karber and wife Sue of Kingfisher, OK. Daughter Betty Barber and husband Randy of Burkburnett, TX. Sister Irene Engle and husband Frank of Vernal, Utah. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
