Lonnie Thomas

Lonnie Dean Thomas, 73, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016.

A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Celebration Family Church with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating.

Lonnie was born July 9, 1943 in Amarillo, Texas to Lonnie Mae and Robert Dean Thomas. He raised bucking bulls, cattle and buffalo. Lonnie was a professional fisherman and bricked many homes and schools in Borger, Fritch and Stinnett. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Webb.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy of the home; son, Rowdy Thomas and wife Arion of Grape Creek, Texas; daughter, Brandy Yelton and husband Robert of Stinnett; five grandchildren, Emily, Luke, Dakota, Lakhi and Addie; brother, Joe Ed Taylor and wife Doris of Bells, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
