Lottie Mae Parker, 81, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 21 at Westlawn Memorial Park, with Jake Minton officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Lottie was born December 12, 1932 in Summersville, MO to Jerome and Juanita Stark Souders. She was a resident of Borger since 1951 and was a member of the Church of Christ. Lottie was the first Meter Maid in Borger, and she was a sergeant with the Borger Police Department as a dispatcher for many years, retiring in 1986. Lottie loved to embroider, crochet, listen to Gospel music, especially the Gathers, and watch Lawrence Welk. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Lottie was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Parker.
Lottie was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Wayne Winks.
She is survived by her stepsons, Larry Parker of Borger and Terry Parker of Buda, TX daughters, Debbie Quezada of Amarillo, Kay West of Fritch, Penny Helms of Bangs, TX, and stepdaughter, Susan Poole of Spearman, TX sisters, Ina Faye Elam of Mount View, MO and Lynn Steele of Kansas City, KS Lottie has numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
