Louella Catherine Davis, 81, died Tuesday, October 10th, 2006 in Borger, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14th, at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Garden at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Davis was born on August 24, 1925 in Lamar, Oklahoma and had been a Borger resident for 62 years. She married Stanley G. Davis on January 19,1942 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She worked at Golden Plains Hospital for 12 years and was the nursing home administrator for Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Spearman for five years. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two half-sisters.BRBRShe is survived by her husband, Stanley G. Davis of the home, two sons - John Davis and wife, Lorraine of Austin, Jim Davis and wife, Tonya of Heidelberg, Germany, two daughters - Cathy Rauscher and husband, Larry of Amarillo, Karen Turner and husband, Johnny of Austin, brother - Bill Ponder of Pampa, sister - Dora Ponder of Amarillo, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Rusty Rauscher, Craig Davis, Chris Davis, John William Turner, Austin Davis, tom Bible and Nathan Forbes. Honorary bearers will be James Nesbitt and Norman Davis.BRBRMemorials may be made to the Opportunities Center, 930 Illinois, Borger 79007.
