Louise Taylor

Louise Taylor, 75, of Borger, Texas joined her Lord and Savior Thursday morning, February 4, 2021.

Louise was born in Burkburnett, Texas to Benjamin Clarence Coburn and Ruby Inez Brister Coburn on July 9, 1945. She married Alvin Ray Taylor on January 28, 1975 in Sherman, Texas.  Louise was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship in Borger, Texas. She worked for over 23 years at Walmart.  Louise enjoyed doing yardwork and cooking any and everything, especially chicken fried steak.  Nothing brought more joy to her life than her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Louise was dearly loved by her children, Gordon Ray Taylor and wife Elizabeth, Sherry Lynn Sarvis and husband Nathan, Tammy Denise Drachenburg and husband Jim, Pamela Jo Bell, Linda Michelle Hayes and husband Kevin, Clifford Wayne Taylor, Kenneth Wayne Coburn and wife Cindy, and David Doyle Cummings and wife Susan. She loved her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister, Linda Stafford; brother, Tommy Coburn; and a countless host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by some she dearly loved and missed, including her parents; husband, Alvin Ray Taylor; and son, Timothy James Taylor.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew her but we take comfort in knowing her legacy lives on in all of us and that she is now with her Heavenly Father.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, February 8, 2021 at Faith Christian Fellowship in Borger with Pastor Terry Corbett, officiating.  The family asks that funeral attendees adhere to social distancing and wear a mask if you would like. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
