Loura Stafford

Loura DAun Stafford, 54, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Celebration Family Church in Fritch with Pastor Dwight Kirksey officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Hope at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Loura was born on August 18, 1955 in Groom, Texas to DArman Ruby Peabody. She married M.L. Jake Stafford on March 5, 1994 in Red River, NM. She was a homemaker, had a passion for animals, loved fishing, camping, old movies and being with her friends. Loura was the best pie maker this side of heaven. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Comer

She is survived by her husband M. L. Jake Stafford of the home, father DArman Peabody of Fritch, brother Danny Peabody of Seattle, WA, two sisters Suzanne Baker and husband James of Borger, Debbie Garcia and husband Prexie of Galveston, numerous nieces an nephews and three greatnieces.

Casket bearers will be Isabell Ramon, Jack Langham, Kenneth Howell Jr., Pee Wee Davis, Pete Iverson and David Hampton.
