Lovellia Christelia Jenkins, 88, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Wheeler, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.BRBRMrs. Jenkins was born on August 20, 1920 in Collingston, LA, and had been a Borger resident since 1947. She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church and retired from sales at Penny's. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two daughters - Jackie Hinds in 2005 and Jennie Whitfield in 2004.BRBRShe is survived by two sons - Jerry Jenkins and wife Donna of Wheeler, David Jenkins of Borger, sister - Johnnie Harriston of Roswell, NM, seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
