Lowell Atkins

Lowell Davis Atkins, 84, died Friday, Janaury 26th, 2007 in Skellytown,Texas.BRBRThe Family asks that friends join them for a time of stories and memories at the Minton- Chatwell Fritch location from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

Private graveside services will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park.BR

Mr. Atkins was born on June 13, 1922 in Nocona, Texas, and had been a Skellytown resident since 1957. He was an instrument technician for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 37 years and served in the US Air Force during WW II. He married Dorthy Nell Scott on November 17, 1956 in Tucumcari, N.M. He was a Methodist and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Wofford Ford.BRBRHis survivors include his wife, Dorthy Atkins of the home, son - Ronnie Atkins of Amarillo, Brother and one grandchild - Mic Atkins.
