Loyce Sable

Loyce Mae Sable, 91. Our beloved Mother and Nanny passed away on October 26, 2021. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Mr. Richard Kasko of Fritch Church of Christ officiating.  Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Loyce was born March 13, 1930 in Walters, OK to Rubbie Lee Gamble and Edith Leona Taylor Gamble.  She was a graduate of Borger High School and married W. D. Pat Sable November 26, 1949 in Clayton, NM.  She loved to fish, crochet, cook (she was known far and wide for her fried chicken), camping, dogs and coffee.  She was known by her grandkids and many others as Nanny.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her twin sister Joyce Faye Toole and her brother Bobby Lee Gamble.

Loyce is survived by her two sons; Randy Sable and his wife Gail of Amarillo and Brad Sable and his wife Carla of Borger, her daughter Jan Roden and her husband David of Borger, her six grandchildren Michael Sable and his wife Amber, Tiffani Bethel and her husband Jason, Tony Sable, Stephen Sable and his wife Tami, Haley Roehr and her husband Nate and Kami Roden, her eleven great grandchildren Ryan, Ethan, Landyn, Kyndall, Kellan, Logan, Nathan, Bradyn, Evan, Stella and Brynna, her brother Dan Gamble of Fritch, and her sister Betty Ann Sparks of Kemp, TX.

Casket Bearers will be Michael Sable, Tony Sable, Stephen Sable, Jason Bethel and Nate Roehr.
