Luke Monden, Jr., 62, died Friday, August 11th, 2006 in Stinnett, Texas.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church Stinnett with Dr. James Berry, pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Borger officiating. Interment will be in Stinnett Cemetery under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of sBorger, Texas.BRBRMr. Monden was born on August 3, 1944 in Borger and was a lifetime resident of Stinnett. He was a welder for Tri State Co. and was a member of First Baptist Church in Stinnett. Luke was an avid NASCAR fan his favorite being Dale Earnhardt, Sr in the Number 3 Car.BRBRHis survivors include his wife, Willie Lou of the home, three sons - Schad Monden and Brian Monden both of Borger, Joe Griffin of Alvin, Tx., daughter - Vicki Schievink of Dublin, Tx., four brothers - Gene Monden of Amarillo, J. A. Monden, Bobby Monden and Richard Monden all of Stinnett, four sisters - LaNell McCormick of Stinnett, Linda Davis of Waco, Peggy Press of Stinnett, Connie McDaniel of Hammond, Louisiana and ten grandchildren.
