Lucile Evelyn Leigh, 96 of Borger died Sunday, October 9, 2011.

A rosary will be held at Minton Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Johns Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Colwell officiating. Arrangements are by Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Leigh was born March 4, 1915 in Henderson Kentucky to Lee Earl and Mary Magdaleon Windhaus DeWitt. She married Frank Lester Leigh on June 4, 1935 in Evansville, Indiana, coming to the Borger area in June of 1981. Mrs. Leigh was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.

Mrs. Leigh was preceded in death by her husband Frank, on October 31, 1981, her parents, a brother F. E. DeWitt and a Grandson, Steven Leigh in 1988.

Survivors include 3 sons, Craig Leigh and wife Diane of Piedmont, South Carolina, Leighton Leigh and wife Pat of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Larry Leigh and wife Norma Jean of Amarillo, Texas. 1 daughter, Leah Boren and husband Clovis of Borger, Texas. Fourteen Grandchildren, Nineteen GreatGrandchildren and 1 GreatGreat Grandchild.
