Luvinia Lee Howard, 80, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Borger.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Hensley, pastor Bunavista Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Luvinia Lee Howard was born on September 4, 1930 in Hansford Co., TX to Foster Mamie Hughes. She was a member of Bunavista Baptist Church, Beta Sigma Phi Womens Sorority, secretary of Chatterettes Bowling League and was a waitress at several restaurants. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband W. A. Bud Howard in 1998, and brother Max Hughes.
Survivors include one son Walter Allen Howard, Jr. of Amarillo, two daughters Rita Bridges and husband Bo and Paula Schaffer all of Borger, brother Alfred Hughes of Broomfield, CO., ten grandchildren and fifteen greatgrandchildren.
