Macaria Pineda

Macaria Pineda, 91, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Iglesias Libertad En Cristo. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Macaria was born January 26, 1927 in Honduras. She was a member of Iglesia Libertad En Cristo. Macaria enjoyed cleaning and dancing. Nothing brought more joy to her life than being with her family especially getting hugs and kisses.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Rivera, Sr.; two infant children, Jose Guadalupe Rivera, Dimas River; and son, Dago Rivera; and great grandson, Alexis Fuentes, Jr.

Survivors include daughters, Marta Piedra and husband Tomas Piedra, Jr of Borger, Lillian Rivera of Tennessee; sons, Manuel Rivera, Jr. of Borger, Rodys Rivera and wife Mirna of Honduras, Jose Leonel Rivera and wife Norma of Honduras, Jose Antonio Rivera of Honduras; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way.
