Manuel Chavez

Manuel Chavez, 58, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016.

Graveside service 2 pm Friday, April 15, 2016 at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Ricardo Gonzales, officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. The rosary will be recited beginning at 6 pm on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in the Minton Memorial Chapel.

Manuel was born September 11, 1957 in Gran Morelos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Isidra Peña Rivera and Daniel Chavez Espinoza. He was a member of Rosa Saron Church. Manuel enjoyed playing bingo and shooting pool. Nothing brought more joy to his life than being with his daughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Daniel Chavez Peña and Emilio Chavez Peña.

Survivors include his daughter, Daenna Chavez; her mother, Rosie Banuelos; her children, Boy Banuelos, Josh Banuelos, Efren Muñoz, Kenia Cooke; brother, Raymundo Chavez Peña; sisters, Luisa Chavez Peña, Maria Chavez Peña, and Maxima Chavez Peña; and niece, Elena Chavez Montes and her husband Jorge Mendoza.

The family would like to thank his friends for their kindness and support.
