Manuel Ortiz

Manuel G. Ortiz, 59, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Borger.

Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Minton Memorial Chapel with Pastor George Holguin of Perryton officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Garden at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Ortiz was born on May 4, 1951 in Ysleta, TX and had been a Borger resident for twentythree years. He was in construction. He married Maria Gayton on September 25, 1989 in Borger. He enjoyed baseball and being with his grandchildren and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilario Soledad Ortiz and sister, Lorenza Escobar.

Manuel is survived by his wife Maria Ortiz of the home, three sons Francisco Ortiz of Tulsa, OK, Manuel Ortiz, Jr. and Jose Ortiz both of Borger, sister Maria Martinez of Tulsa, OK, seven grandchildren Marcus, Jose, Damian, Alyis, Francisco, Briana and Sofia Ortiz and the Escobar Family.

Casket bearers will be Francisco Ortiz, Manuel Ortiz, Jr., Jose Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, Jr., Francisco Ortiz, Jr., and Damian Ortiz.
