Marcos Antony Sotelo, 10, of Stinnett, died March 30, 2010.
Memorial services will be at 2 pm Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 108 Broadmoor in Borger with Mike Nixon and Randy Lopez officiating. A visitation will be from 57p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Ruben Cantu, Jared Cagle, Greg Bryant, Dustin Comer, Ethan Martinez and Sam Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Evan Bryant, Noah Brown and Michael Sotelo.
Marcos was born to Danny and Kendra Sotelo on March 04, 2000. He attended 4th grade at Sunray Elementary. He will be missed by his teachers Amy Nelson, Ramonda Raymond, Barbara Miller, Connie Walker, and Starla Smith and many friends at school.
Marcos had many interests, including Star Wars, wrestling with his friends and cousins, football, and was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan. He enjoyed fishing, playing with his brother and sisters, spending time with his grandparents, folding paper airplanes and then flying them in class. He also loved spending time at his dads body shop and playing with his dog Flash.
From his study of the Bible, Marcos came to know and appreciate our wonderful Creator Jehovah God. He will be remembered for his lovable hugs and his warm smile. He especially enjoyed going out on Saturday mornings and sharing his faith with others.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dale Teel, in 2008.
He is survived by his father Danny, a brother, Kameron Miguel Sotelo, and sister, Aaliyah Breanne Sotelo, all of Stinnett his grandparents Juan and Paula Sotelo, Margie Teel, all of Stinnett aunts and uncles Tony and ReBecca Sotelo, Joe Sotelo, Tricia and Ray Latta, Kevin Teel, Lloyd and Tanya Stewart, all of Amarillo, Karin and Mark Dyer of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma and a host of cousins and friends.
