Marcus Jones

Marcus Ray Jones, 47 of Borger died March 25, 2019 in Lubbock. Family and friends visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Minton Memorial Chapel.

Marcus was born April 14, 1971 in Borger to Walter Junior and Truzell Lavern (Sauls) Jones. He graduated from Borger High School in 1990. He married Linda Starling June 19, 1990 in Borger. He was a truck driver for 25 years with Nex Oil. He loved to fish and hunt.

Preceding him in death was his father and step father Willie Holiwell.

Surviving is his mother Truzell Holiwell of Borger. Wife Linda of Borger. Daughter Neokka Kelly of Borger. Step daughter Ambrosia Bumpus of Borger. Step son Christopher Starling of Ft. Worth, TX. Brothers Leon Holiwell of Amarillo and Michael Sauls of Amarillo. Sister Treva McCoy of Borger. One grandchild Araya Kelly and five step grandchildren.
