Margaret Breen

Margaret Breen, 93, died Friday, February 2, 2018 in Amarillo, with her family around her. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in Minton Memorial Chapel. Family and friends visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Breen was a well known and loved Fritch person, she was very active in civic affairs and did many things behind the scenes to promote the town she loved. She married George Glenn Breen, Jr. on June 16, 1947 in Pecos, TX, George preceded her in death in 2011. She was a member of the Franklin Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son Bruce Breen and his wife Brenda of Fritch and her daughter Carolyn Samberson of Sanford, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
