Margarita Torres

Margarita Torres, 60 of Borger died Saturday, July 19th in Borger. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday at St. Johns Catholic Church with Father Gregory Bunyan of Sacred Heart Church in Spearman officiating. Rosary will be read Monday evening at 7:00 pm at Minton Memorial Chapel.

Margarita was born November 2, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas to Migel and Estela Martinez Valverde. She was a member of ST. John Catholic Church. She loved to sew and collecting antiques. She enjoyed her grandkids and her doll collection.

Margarita was preceded in death by her parents and brother Harvey Valverde.

Margarita is survived by her husband Jorge. Sons George Jr. and wife Jessica: Tommy and wife Jennifer: Randy all of Borger. Daughter Rachael Torres of Borger. Brothers Eloy Valverde of Amarillo and Michael Valverde and partner Tony of Granbury. Sisters Mary Garcia and husband Rudy Martha Valverde Linda Valverde and husband Jesse Angie Valverde Martha Granneth and husband d Keith Anita Valverde all of Granbury, Texas. Seven grandchildren Marie, Luis, A. J. Linzey, Haylee, Destiny and Zytaevius. One Greatgranddaughter Audrey. Host of extended family.
