Margie Ensey

Margie Lea Ensey, 80, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in Panhandle.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Panhandle with Rev. Joe Zimmerman, pastor officiating. Cremation is under the direction of MintonChatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Mrs. Ensey was born on May 19, 1930 in Frederick, OK and had been a lifetime Panhandle area resident. She married James Austin Ensey on August 27, 1948 in Carson Co., and was very involved in her church including choir. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Austin Ensey and one brother.

She is survived by her son Larry Lee Ensey of Lubbock, three daughters Carolyn Hayes and husband Jerry of Kress, TX, Donna Ashford and husband Corky of Oklahoma City, OK, Loretta Smith and husband Roy of Panhandle, two sisters Jean Monk and husband Neal of Pampa, Myrt Ensey and husband Don of Satilla, TX, ten grandchildren and fourteen greatgrandchildren.
