Margie A. Tucker Gray, 75, of Fritch went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 in Amarillo, Texas.
Margie entered this life on August 22, 1931 in Longmont, Colorado. She moved to Dewey, Oklahoma as a child, received her education, and married Clyde V. Gray, Sr. on October 7, 1950. Clyde and Margie moved to the Fritch area immediately after the wedding. They raised three sons.BRBRMargie was active in many community activities. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch since 1975.BRBRShe was preceded in death by her parents, Alva W. and Golda Tucker, two brothers, Leroy and John Tucker, and three sisters, Ruth Hicks, Nadine Raines and Althea Tucker.BRBRSurvivors include her husband, Clyde V. Gray, Sr., three sons; Clyde Gray Jr. and wife Sandi of San Marcus, Tx; Raymond Gray and wife, Michelle of Fritch and Bruce Gray of the home in Fritch. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Julie Barnett and husband Robert of Bryan, Tx., Jennifer Gray and Darci Gray both of San Antonio, Tx., Kelly Gray of Ft. Worth, Savana Bible and Wesley Gray both of Fritch, Blake and Bailey Barnett both of Bryan, Tx. and one brother, Clyde Elmer Tucker of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Other survivors include much loved nieces, nephews and many very special friends.BRBRServices will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church in Fritch with Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor officiating. Interment will be in The Garden of Beatitudes at Westlawn Memorial Park.
