Margie "Mo" Lewis

Margie “Mo” Lewis, 78, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 22,2025 at Minton Memorial Chapel and cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Margie was born January, 5th, 1947, in Borger, Texas to Henry Yake and Mary Laster. She married Tommy Lewis in 1962 at Victory Baptist Church in Stinnett, Texas. Margie was an avid animal lover with the kind of demeaner that all kinds of animals flocked to. She collected cows, Santa Clauses and other figurines and worked most of her life as a customer service manager. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tommy; son Tommy Lewis Jr; daughter Tammy Lewis Young; three brothers Bill Yake, Bud Yake, Runt Yake; and two sisters Mary E Gentry and Louise Sanders.

Survivors include grandson Chad Young and wife Randi of Stinnett, sister Marsha Stout and husband Greg of Stinnett, two great grandchildren Wyatt Young and Blake Young of Fritch, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family.
