Marie Simmons

Marie Simmons, 89, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 inBorger. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God with Pastor Calvin Newton officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. Simmons was born in Castle, Oklahoma, August 19, 1917. She married Tommy Simmons March, 25, 1936 in Shidler, Oklahoma. They moved to Borger in 1940. She was a Homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Borger. Survivors include a Nephew, Tony Higgins of Borger; two Nieces, Janice Williamson and Theresa Hudson, both of Borger. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Tommy Sept. 2, 1999, and a son, Tommy D. Simmons August 24, 2004.
